*Currently taking new client (afterwork 4pm and Saturday) Hi! My name is Jill, and welcome to Mind Trek Counseling! I am a therapist who collaborates with clients on their journey toward healing, helping them navigate life’s challenges, relationships, and mental health conditions.

I work with a variety of clients, including those with ADHD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, and trauma. My approach integrates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and trauma-focused CBT. I am especially passionate about working with women of all ages and young adults, supporting them through major life transitions such as career changes, parenting, college, and graduate school.

My Background

My extensive background spans both the public and private sectors, encompassing law, corporate business, small business ownership, and social work as a mental health therapist in private practice. I adopt a trauma-informed methodology, having served a diverse clientele, including young adults, women of all ages, college and graduate students, veterans, and those facing addiction and in high-stress environments. I am a compassionate and empathetic listener, using cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches to guide clients through life transitions and various challenges. I graduated from the MSSW program of Columbia University and I’m currently licensed as LSW.

How can I help?

I understand that life can be difficult. No one is insulated from life’s challenges, and it can be helpful to have a supportive, compassionate, and empathetic therapist to walk through those challenges with you. Whether it is overcoming the loss of a loved one, the breakup of a relationship or starting a new career or educational endeavor, I am here to support you and work with you in your life journey. We will collaborate, and I will provide guidance for you throughout your healing process as you learn to overcome obstacles and heal from sadness, trauma, and/or loss.

Jill Goff, LSW, MSSW

My top three specialties are women’s issues, trauma recovery, Anxiety, and ADHD.

  • Women’s Issues - I’m a therapist who specializes in helping women navigate the challenges and transitions that come with every stage of life. From the uncertainty and growth of young adulthood, to learning as a parent, or managing the adjustments of later life, I will support you in your journey. I especially love working with young adults as they navigate their careers, relationships, and life purpose.

  • Trauma Recovery - My goal is to create a non-judgmental and supportive space where you feel safe to be heard. We work at your pace. Using trauma-focused cognitive behavioral techniques and a strengths-based framework, I’ll help you replace or reframe negative thoughts, set and achieve goals, and make progress toward life improvements. After more extensive EMDR training, I will incorporate methods of this modality in therapy for the trauma recovery.

  • Anxiety – I specialize in helping individuals manage and overcome anxiety, providing a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you're dealing with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, or the stress of life transitions, I will work with you to develop personalized strategies to reduce worry and build resilience. Using evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, we’ll identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop coping skills, and create a plan to help you feel more grounded and in control. My goal is to empower you to face challenges with confidence and live a more fulfilling life.

  • ADHD – We will start with assessing your needs and level of executive functioning in a supportive and non-judgmental space. We will explore grounding techniques and break down tasks to manage feelings of overwhelm. We will collaborate on setting and achieving goals, so you feel heard. I will provide support, guidance, and psychoeducation with your work on ADHD focus plans and any co-existing conditions you may have such as anxiety or depression.
